Meet Roscoe, a large shepherd mix who is 8 years old. He currently weighs 67 pounds. He came from animal control. When he was picked up he had massive hair loss due to being shaved and to allergies not being treated. Also he had severe infections in both ears and was underweight. After several months of care, healthy food and meds Roscoe's fur is coming back. There is one bald spot left under his neck. With his fur returning he has the cutest mutton chops (bush sideburns). He is blooming into a beautiful dog.    Roscoe will do well if his forever family or person were at home alot or could take Roscoe with them. He has separation anxiety. He will bark continuously with his Booming voice. Lacey is a 2 year old Lab/Corgi mix, she weighs 49 pounds right now.  She has been in an outdoor pen all her life but we finally got her into a great foster home. Lacey is a very happy and energetic girl and would be great with an active family or as a playmate for another dog. She loves everyone she meets including humans and other dogs. She is even good around chickens! She is now house trained and kennel trained and has come a long way with her leash training. Lacey is easy to train and comes when she is called. Nala Grace is a 2 year old purebred blue/white American Pitbull terrier, she weighs 43 pounds.   Nala was found by one of our volunteers in the middle of a busy highway.  They brought her to our vet where we started searching for her owner.  Her owner was a breeder and luckily they decided to release her to us so we could find her forever home.   Nala is a petite little girl but she is packed with personality.  She absolutely loves humans and just wants to snuggle.  She is definitely a favorite at the vets office.   We did have her adopted out for a couple months but she got into a little tiff with the other dog.  Nobody got hurt and we weren't there to see what happened.  If you have another dog we would just have to let them meet first. Lily is a 2 year old Shepherd/Hound mix, she weighs around 45 pounds.   Lily was pulled from a shelter just before her time was up. Lily is cautious at first with humans and other dogs but she does warm up quickly with both.  She would need a home with older kids just due to her amount of shyness.   She loves to run around so she will need a fenced yard for safety.  Once she trusts you she is very loving and enjoys human contact.   Please fill out an application from our website if you want to meet Sweet Lily.

Cam is a 1 year old Grey/white Tabby, he weighs 10.5 pounds.   Cam was found as a stray and was rescued by one of our volunteers.  Cam did test FIV positive so he needs to be an only cat or placed with other cats that are also already FIV positive.   Cam is super sweet and has the best goofy personality.  If you would like to meet him please fill out an application from our website.

We have 4 male guinea pigs available for adoption.   They are 12 weeks old and are black with blonde coloring.   They need so be adopted separately because 4 boys together makes for a tough crowd :). Male, 6 months old. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Luke is a mama's boy and insists on being near his foster mom when he gets sleepy. He loves toys, especially his spiral ball toy and dog tails! He is playful but also loves to cuddle.

Truman had a rough start in life, he was found dodging traffic at 4 weeks old after all of his siblings got hit.  His foster dad was able to catch him and he is now doing well at 8 months of age.   He is shy at first but will warm up quickly.  He is very playful and does great with the litter box.

Fefe is a 5 year old Border Collie mix, she weighs about 45 pounds.   Fefe was rescued by her foster mom when her neighbors moved.  They kept her in a small lot all of the time, she was never let out to play.  She didn't have anything to keep her dry or out of the heat.  She won't go inside a dog house because of the way she was treated.   Once her foster mom got her Fefe learned how life should really be.  Fefe loves to be outside with the option to go indoors if she wants.  Unfortunately she was never socialized by her owners so she is very skittish when first meeting new people.   She loves other dogs but will get intimidated by alpha dogs and go hide.  She has been around cats, but there is only 1 cat that she doesn't chase.  She would be better without cats and young children.  The only reason her foster mom is trying to find her a new home is because her personal dog is funny with other dogs and he i...read more about Fefe

Sylvester is a 1 year old Tuxedo cat, he weighs about 10 pounds.   His current owners found him at 4 months old but unfortunately one of the family members is allergic so he needs a new forever home. Please meet Danny, Joey, John and Jordan they are 8 weeks old and are Manchester Terrier mixes. A concerned couple reached out to our director about a stray dog they were trying to rescue.  It took a bit but they were finally able to win her over.  Their heroic daughter came over and crawled under a fallen down barn and was able to pull out 8 adorable puppies.     We think mom is a Manchester Terrier mix, she is about 25-30 pounds.   We don't know who daddy is but there has been a black German Shepherd seen in the area.  Its possible that is the father but unfortunately we will never know for sure!!!  Mama dog is the perfect mother and has taken such good care of her babies.   If you would like to adopt one of the Cadbury puppies please fill out an application from our website.    

Honey is a 1 year old Greyhound mix, she currently weighs around 43 pounds.   Honey has been through obedience training and was an excellent student.  She walks great on a leash and knows all the basic commands.   Honey's current owner has some medical issues and feels that she needs more than she can give her.  She needs an active family that will keep her busy and well exercised.  She is great with other dogs but hasn't been around any cats in her current home.   If you would like to meet Honey please fill out an application from our website.
