Baxter is a Boxer/Mastiff mix. He will be 5 years old in May. He weighs 58 pounds and is a brindle color with four white socks.
Baxter had a very rough life when he was a puppy. He was chained out and treated poorly by his owners until one of our volunteers was able to get them to surrender him.
Baxter was adopted out 2 years ago to a wonderful family and became a spoiled lap dog. He is very loving, affectionate and docile.
His current family has to move to care for a family member that can't be around dogs. They very reluctantly have to return Baxter to us and they need to find a home for his brother Maxwell. We would love to find Baxter and Maxwell a home together but we know that is almost impossible.
If you would like to meet Baxter please fill out an application from our website.
