Penelope is a precious little girl who needs a special home.  She is about 10 years old and weighs 5.3 pounds.

Penelope was found wandering the streets in bad shape.  She seems to be totally blind because of cataracts.  We think she can hear, but she had really bad ear infections.  Her teeth are horrible and she has hook and whip worms.  Unfortunately whoever "lost" her wasn't taking good care of her.

We are going to slowly get her back into shape at whatever rate she can handle.  One of our volunteers is going to bring her home to foster her so we will know more about house training then.

Penelope just wants to be held and she will whimper if she is left alone.  We are sure she is scared after what she has been through.  She just wants someone to love her.
