Cream is a very handsome Pekingese boy who is 4 years old. He weighs 11.2 pounds and is up to date on shots, on heart worm preventives and neutered.
Cream was found as a stray and the people who found him were keeping him outdoors. They came out to feed him one Sunday evening and noticed that his eye was completely out of the socket and had turned black.
This poor baby had to be in so much pain!!! They did bring him to the vet's office but couldn't afford treatment. They signed him over to our rescue and we had his surgery done immediately.
Cream is in a foster home and he is slowly getting used to being indoors, in a new environment and living with only one eye. He is a sweet boy and gets along with the foster's two dogs.
Cream is almost completely house trained and is crate trained. His foster mom is working on getting him used to a schedule and he is progressing everyday.
We recently took Cream to an eye specialist because we were afraid he may have glaucoma in his eye. It turns out he has the beginnings of a cataract that will need surgery in 1-2 years. This will need to be done by a specialist so it will be pricey.
Please fill out an application if you would like to meet Cream in person.
Adoption Donation is $250, this money will go towards his vet bill for his surgery.
