Cocoa Puff is a 3 year old Chihuahua.  She was found completely covered in fleas and has some missing hair and scabs from itching so much.  

She weighs only 4.2 pounds and loves to be held and snuggled.  She is great with adults and she can be placed with older children.  She is too scared right now to be with young kids with a lot of energy.  She likes to play and enjoys spending time with other small dogs.  She is afraid of dogs that are a lot bigger than she is.  We have not tested her with cats, we feel that she would be afraid of them also.

Cocoa Puff needs a home where she has a fenced area for potty and playtime.  She is afraid of her harness right now and will bolt away from you if you don't have one on her.  This will get better once she realizes that not all humans want to hurt her.

It seems that she has been neglected and abused by her previous owner.  She will duck her head if you make any fast movements or raise your hand over her head.  She is very excited to be in safe hands and even more excited that she will get a home with people who love her.
