Barney was surrendered by his elderly owner who was forced to move into a nursing facility where she couldn't bring him.  We were so saddened that they had to be seperated.  Barney is 13 years old and suffers from arthritis and hypothyroidism.  Both conditions are well controlled with medications. 

Barney has no idea that he is considered a "senior" dog in the human world, so please don't tell him!!  He will shamelessly beg for food, is friendly, and has lots of love to give.  His human friends consider him to be the "Nicholas Cage" of the dog world with his good looks, handsome smile, funny antics, and remarkable acting skills!
