What a big ball of energy Chet is. His life started out rough though. He came into Surry Animal Rescue at the young age of 4 months after being put in a shed by his owner and ingesting a large amount of poison of some sort. It caused some neurological issues and his owner didn’t want him back. Chet went into a foster home and his foster mom and dad fell in love with his personality and decided to keep him. Now his family’s situation has changed and they are very sad they have to give him up. Chet does not know he has a neurological disorder whatsoever. What the neurological disorder does it makes his balance a bit off…we lovingly call him our “Drunk dog” because that is what he looks like when he is running around—he is a character!! He has a way about him that everyone falls in love with him when they see him and he is always a conversation piece.
Chet would be best suited in a home with other dogs to play with to wear some of his energy out. He loves playing with his toys too! Chet loves every person he meets, even small kids, but he would be better in a home with older kids so he doesn’t knock the small children down. Chet is 100% crate trained. He is such a loving, happy-go-lucky, loyal, wonderful boy that would make a great addition to any family. Fenced in yard REQUIRED!
