ROKA NEEDS A NEW HOME IMMEDIATELY!! HER FAMILY HAS MOVED TO AFRICA AND COULD NOT TAKE HER WITH THEM!!!!
Roka is 12 years old, she is spayed and has had anal gland surgery to have both glands removed. She is on thyroid medication and she is on a special diet - low calorie food. Roka does have arthritis and is starting some new medications to help her feel better. She just recently had lab work and is a very healthy dog. She was on liver medications but is doing so well that the Dr. took her off of them.
Roka is a sweet dog, she is very laid back - needs little exercise, does not jump, rarely barks and sleeps a lot. She does not sit on laps but enjoys being near people.
She is wonderful with kids (does not like to be sat on, but otherwise is very patient with kids)
Roka is good with other dogs, but occasionally will want to be the dominant female if other females are around and she is mostly good with cats. Roka is used to having other people babysit her for long periods of time (family travels often).
If left alone outside she will dig to be with you and she will scratch a door if left alone inside a room, but will not touch a babygate if kenneled inside with one.
