Duke is a purebred black and tan Miniature Dachshund.  He is 15 months old and weighs about 8 pounds.  Duke is a real sweetheart and he really needs a good home.  He loves to be with people and would make a great companion for someone.  He does not, however, do well with small children.  He would do best in an adult only home.  Duke recently had a reaction to his vaccinations so whoever adopts him will have to be very cautious when giving his next set of shots.  He will need to have Benadryl before and after each shot and be watched carefully.  Duke had a great personality and is a real snuggler!!
