Hi, my name is Pookie. I am a male Schnoodle that is about 3 years old. I have a very sad story to tell you: I was found as a stray and I was such a matted mess and filthy, had a fish hook stuck in me and the wire was wrapped around my leg. My rescuer couldn't even find my right eye under all the hair and I wasn't walking on my back leg. Along the line, my pelvis has been crushed and has healed improperly. There is nothing the vet can do to fix it and as a result of the crushed pelvis, I have nerve damage which makes me drip urine. I know to go potty outside, but I just can't help it!! I also limp a little on my left back leg due to the injury. I am the sweetest little dog who loves everyone and everything!! I have come accustomed to wearing a doggy diaper and who said diapers aren't stylish? They are not like traditional baby diapers, they are actually very cute. I know what you are thinking, I am too much work, but putting on diapers and giving me a few pills a day does not take but a few minutes and I can return the favor with hours of love!! Just ask my foster mommy. If you can look past my imperfections, I am the PERFECT DOG!!! I really would love to find my forever home and get the tender love and care I deserve.

Update on Pookie!!  I do not take any more medication now... I am wearing my diaper less and less.. Oh and did I tell you I don't shed much at all!!
