Carl is a Dachshund/Jack Russel Terrier mix from what we can tell.  He is 3 1/2 month old and only weighs 14 pounds.

Carl is really fun to have around. He is very friendly, and loves to play. Carl will play until he drops. He loves other dogs and his foster mom thinks a house with another dog would really suit him. Also, help get some of his endless energy out. He could play fetch for hours. Tug of war and keep away are his favorite.

He doesn’t seem to have any fears. He gets along good with children. He wants to play with cats but cats don’t want to play with him. He is a little timid when doing something new but warms up pretty fast.

He is very curious. Always sniffing around and exploring. He is very smart. His potty training is going very well. He has been going to the back door when he needs to go out or barking when he wants out of his kennel.  He has still had a couple of accidents but he is on his way to being fully potty trained. We have been crate training him.

He sleeps in his dog bed while we watch TV.
He is not much of a barker.  

He has been going on two walks a day and is pretty good on a leash.  He loves treats but does not always want to eat his dog food. He just likes to graze on it all day long. He is not food aggressive at all. You can take food out of his mouth and he just thinks you are playing.

Carl is great company. He will bring a lot of joy to a household. He is a goofball and very loving.
