Carter is an 8 month old Corgi mix, he weighs about 20 pounds.

This sweet little guy was abandoned by his family when they had to move out of their rental home.  When we picked him up Carter was chained to the fence post and was cowering in the corner.  We were able to get a rope lead around his neck and coax him out of the yard. Once our volunteer won him over enough to pick him up he was a different dog.  He snuggled into her neck and gave her many thank you kisses.

Carter will be neutered this week and he will be ready for his new home.  We haven't tested him with other dogs and cats just yet but we will.
