Hali is a purebred Boxer about 8 years old.  She weighs around 42 pounds and definitely needs to gain weight.

Hali is such a sweet, loving dog.  We noticed her about a month ago wandering down the street by the golf course.  Many people tried to catch her, but she wasn't having any of it!!

She was on her own during the entire cold snap and we were so worried about her.  Last week our director finally caught her and got her to our vet's to safety.

Hali has a lot of issues, she obviously had many liters of puppies, one more recent.  She is heart worm positive :(, she has horrible teeth and she has a tumor or swelling of her thyroid.  You would never know she had all these issues by her happy personality.

Right now we are letting Hali rest and hoping that her swelling will come down on its own.  She will need to be spayed, have a biopsy if needed and start her heart worm treatment.  In which order we are not sure of yet.

We would love for her to have a foster home where she could be comfortable and happy during her treatment.  Even better would be a forever home!!!
