Dottie is a 2 year old purebred Chihuahua. She weighs only 6.7 pounds.
This little girl was brought to us after her human mommy couldn't take care of her anymore. She has cancer and asked for us to find her baby a good home.
Dottie is absolutely adorable and she was scared to death when we got her. One of our volunteers took her home to foster her and she is doing so much better. Her foster mom can pick her up and give her kisses. Her foster dad can hold her on his lap, but she won't let him pick her up just yet.
She will take treats from people, but if anyone tries to pick her up she will try to bite. It didn't take long for her to trust her foster mom so we have no doubt that she will love her new parents just as much.
If you would like to meet Dottie please fill out an application from our website. She will need a fenced yard for her safety when she is outdoors.
